Leroy's Contest at Hooters

This week's match-up in the "Leroy's Money Talks Invitational," broadcast from Hooters from 3 to 4 pm on Oct. 30, is Fat Jack Ross vs. Lance Blankenship. Last week Steve Makinen moved on despite a 2-5 record, when opponent Tony Ricci was the first no-show in the contest's history. Also, Dave Hochman put up a perfect 7-0 to win a rematch with Wayne Peters after the two tied two weeks ago. Today's show will be broadcast live on KLAV AM 1230.

Saturday/Sunday Games

Our ongoing ratings of the best Monday Night Football parties (all considered) and a separate grading of the parties at the strip clubs are listed below. We've also been asked about best game-viewing venues for Saturday and Sunday. Since all the books have big crowds on the weekends, we haven't spent as much time checking them, but here are some suggestions. With all the Station and Fiesta sports books selling dollar dogs and beers, you can't go wrong at any of them, but three excellent venues are Green Valley Ranch, Red Rock, and Santa Fe. Additionally we'd recommend LV Hilton, M Resort, Lagasse's Stadium at Palazzo, and either the sports book or the Rock House Bar at Imperial Palace. Cheetahs also runs specials during the Saturday games.

MNF at the Strip Clubs, Part 5

We've checked out all of the big gentlemen's clubs and overall, Olympic Garden comes out as the best for MNF and has been awarded the only A rating. All the Bs are also good choices. Read earlier "Updates" for their reviews.<.
