Bowl Games

The week is packed with college bowl games. In the biggies Houston is -7 over Penn St. in the Cotton Bowl, Oregon is -5.5 over Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl, Oklahoma St. is -4 over Stanford in the Fiesta Bowl, Michigan is -2.5 over Virginia Tech in the Sugar Bowl, and Alabama is -1 over LSU in the BCS National Championship.

LVA Member Rewards

The Las Vegas Advisor's 2012 Member Rewards Book is at the printer. The lone sports-betting offer for a discounted futures bet at Lucky's was withdrawn this year, due to the changeover in ownership that's currently taking place (William Hill acquired Lucky's this year). But we think there's a good chance we'll get it back later in 2012 through our Member Rewards Online program. The 2012 book contains several excellent coupons for gamblers, including matchplay, bonuses, double-pay on blackjack naturals, and a new “Get Out of Hand Free” card you can use when you bust on 22 in blackjack. Lucky's Carryover

There was one perfect card at Terrible's last week with the owner taking down $37,015 for his $5 wager. The jackpot resets to $10,000 and will convert to a modified playoff format if there are no perfects this week.

Pick the Pros

Last week 17 players went 15-0 card. The winner of the tiebreaker got $10,000 and the 16 others got $1,250 apiece.
