Treasure Island Opens Mobile Betting

On Monday July 27th Treasure Island introduced their mobile betting app and began taking sign-ups. TI got theirs going at a good time as it gives bettors a month or so to get set up for the upcoming football season.

With Treasure Island now up and running that makes nine Nevada sports books operations that offer betting from handheld devices. What’s interesting about the nine is that the first six were outfits that offered land based betting at multiple locations. William Hill, Southpoint, CGTechnology, Coast, Stations and Peppermill all have sports book counters in more than one location in the state. The last three though, are true independent books that run sports books at just one location. Atlantis, Aliante and now Treasure Island are books whose lines were previously available at only one casino. Now account holders can bet at these books from anywhere in the state. Next up may be another independent book. Nothing firm yet but word is that there a handful of books working on getting their app going and the majority of them are independent. Right now there are nine mobile betting apps available in Nevada and below are the links to info on downloading their apps and establishing accounts.
