Ronda Rousey defends her bantamweight title tonight vs Bethe Correia in a 5 round main event from Rio de Janeiro Brazil. Rousey (11-0) is a -1800 favorite (average price among Las Vegas books) to retain her belt vs the undefeated Brazilian Correia (9-0) +1000. The UFC 190 PPV card starts at 7pm and can be seen at a number of Nevada venues at varying admission prices, some that include food and drink.
Free admission can also be had at some locations. A couple of our favorites free spots are the Crazy Horse III on Russell Rd in Las Vegas and the MontBleu in South Lake Tahoe.
At the CH3, admission is free only for locals with proper ID. Buckets of beer are $20 for 5 and free pizza is served. The place eventually fills up but finding a decent spot to watch the main card has never been a real problem. Visit ToplessVegas for their list of recommended UFC viewing sites.
In Lake Tahoe admission is free for all and seating is ample throughout the sports book and the nearby casino area. Extra chairs are set up and there is a VIP viewing area available for a nominal charge. The sports book there is a William Hill so you can bet on the fights (don’t forget the two free drink tickets with each $50 bet) and sit at any of a number of good viewing spots including one of the last Sigma Derby race machines left in the state.
Because of the free admission, the on-site sports book, free drinks either by sitting at the long VP bar or through betting at William Hill and the very manageable crowds – the MontBleu is my favorite place in the state to watch the UFC.
